MANILA, Philippines — A former chief of the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP HPG) Special Operations Division (SOD) is facing an administrative case following a complaint lodged by five officers over an alleged P7 million bribe he took from an arrested suspect in exchange for 'special treatment and [fixing] the case.'
In a statement on Friday, Napolcom identified the official as Police Col. Rommel Casanova Estolano.
According to Napolcom, the allegations stemmed from a June 13 operation resulting in the arrest of one J.J. Javier and his companion in Parañaque City.
The suspects were reportedly caught with a C4 explosive device, a pistol and live ammunition. , This news data comes from:http://xmdxfew.ycyzqzxyh.com
